Wanted to post this earlier but couldn't with the board down. I know this isn't gun related but also know there are a lot of car guys here so thought I'd at least give any antique car folks a heads up.

I've got a pretty nice 1929 DeSoto on ebay right now if anyones interested.
That DeSoto looks almost identical to a 1929 Plymouth sedan I had in the mid 60's. Mine was blue also but a lighter color and the paint wasn't as good as yours. The Plymouth was only a 4 cylinder but it did have hydraulic brakes and the vacuum can fuel pump worked just fine. If I remember right the tires were 4.50 X 20 with the California split rims. Tires were the hardest part to come by then as it was my only car and I drove it for about 2 years before I got the urge to trade it for something else. The worst part was all of the windows were plate glass instead of safety glass so you wouldn't want to get in a wreck with it. I sure wish I still had it.

As someone who has restored several cars I would say this is a really good deal. A little more money up front usually pays off in hours spent later! I have to wonder what your state has for laws if they will not issue a tittle for a pre 74 car? I went through this a few years ago with an out of state car and they acutally made me research and find the decendants of the last registered owner and get a release from them! Lots of money and lots of time for nothing! Also, is it kind of weird that a state had an inspection in the 50s or what? Good Luck, Hotch
