okay guys I found a old surplus store the other day, you all know the type, stuff stacked to the ceiling, cluttered, never know what you are going to find, like the ones back in the 70's not the ones today that got mostly chinese sh*t trying to pass off as USGI. Place even smelled like old canvas, cosmoline and moth balls. felt like I stepped back in time about 30 years ago. It also had a training 1919A6 (missing the bipod) on a shelf - offered 500.00 for it but they did not want to sell it. Well anyway found some old canvas stuff and need to identify it. here is a partial list, I bought some of this stuff and some I did not but wrote down the numbers on it. If there is interest maybe I will try to figure out on how to post some pics on the stuff I bought.

*cover tripod mount M2 D306653
I think these are for the M2 tripod head, some are green and some tan . I bought them all out on these. they all have pockets on the outside and a few have the pockets starting to pull away a little but I am thinking of having my mom resew them, she does a pretty good job on my sewing needs. might consider selling some of these.

*cover spare barrel M9 D30674 -did not buy any of these trying to figure if they are for the 30 cal barrel

*cover receiver cal 30 co-axial MG D91055- are these for the 30 cal gun for inside a aircraft ?

*cover breech C67701 bolt pouch parts pouch - no ideal if this is for 30 call or what ?

* bought some TM's and some M1 garand/carbine cleaning case pouches also- looks like WW11 or Korean war issue stuff

well let me know guys if you know what this stuff is for, might go back in a few weeks. If there is enough interest might go back for some requests or just bring a pile of stuff to sell at the April knob creek at the usual meeting place (12:00 noon at the y on Friday or Saturday)

I don't have a reference handy for the drawing numbers, but what you describe makes sense. I know there is a cover for the receiver, and I have one example, but I don't know if it was intended for aircraft use or for vehicle mounts. The M9 spare barrel covers are definitely for the 1919, and there is a pouch for a spare breech bolt, so that is probably what you have. One of the manuals shows all these canvas items. I'll have to look to see which one it is.

Would the M9 spare barrel case allow you to carry the barrel with a barrel extension already attached?

The "co-axial" language in reguards to the .30 was offten when reffering to use in a tank.

Buy these and sell some to me! :D

No, the cover is not long enough, except for your 16" shorty barrel. :D

The only stuff that would be for sale would be the ones in the pics, Do not have a barrel carriers yet but could go back sometime and buy some- what is a good price on them ? How does 10.00 EA for the m2 tripod covers and 5.00 EA for the cleaning kit pouches ? -plus actual shipping . Remember that a few of the covers had there pockets starting to come up a little on a corner but the rest of the cover is fine as far as I can tell. first posts & PM get choice

none of this stuff I believe has any Isreal markings on them, this is old surplus
