GUN IS CURRENTLY SOLD PENDING FUNDS

FS: Yugoslavian Refinish K98. Gun still retains several Waffens. Bore is tight and shiny. Has capture screws and sight hood. No cleaning rod. Bayo is post war Preduze 44 marked. Please see pictures for better descriptions.

Im looking to get $500.00 shipped for the gun, (East of the Mississippi, West of the river, I ask that buyer helps defray shipping and we split shipping costs). I also ask that OBO's consider shipping when making offers.

I'm interested. What about the numbers on the typically numbered parts, i.e., do they match? Also, is the stock German or a Yugo replacement? Looks German but I'd like to confirm. I'm in PA and have a C&R. Can you ship directly to me?

The gun appears to have been assembled in the typical post war manner: disassemble guns, throw in parts bins, , gauge for function, refinish (blue) if necessary, reassemble. Generally nothing matches. Heres what I can tell you:

Front band is the cleaner, non welded type. Solid, milled German late war variant.
Front sling band is early German milled style
Sight collar is German, Waffen WA77 stamps
Sight is German, very smalll Waffens on bar and slide
BBL has some small marks, looks like maybe proof marks but I cant tell origin.
Receiver ring has Yugo SN, Yugo Crest, Preduzece 44
Mod.98 on receiver bridge
Ejector bar thingy on side is German, has partial serial number on it. (Only the Germans marked anything this small)

BOLT- Underside of handle has Waffen WA77
The rest of the parts (collar, safety, sear, firing pin) Appear unmarked, indicating these were either Yugo or virgin, uninspected and unissued German parts. Extractor shows typical Soviet style purple from the caustic blue during refinish.

Stock- the stock has a factory applied serial number stamp that matches the receiver ring. So the wood matches the gun. (from the refurb at least). I dont know if the stock was unissued German or Yugo postwar. I cant find any other stamps in the wood.

Its a great shooter (Ive only put about 40 rounds thru it in the 20 years Ive owned it). I bought it during the last wave of really good Yugo K98's, (Maybe 1999?) ever since then all you can find are M48's.

Yes I will ship directly to you.

Hers a picture of the BBL markings/proofs

Prudence tells me to forgo this good opportunity. I just got back from a medical check and I need to have a little relatively common surgical repair work from a recent self-induced injury. As my bride of 44 years keeps reminding me, you are not 35 anymore. Thanks for all of the information but, as they say, poop happens.
