This is a very clean ALL German (no Yugo parts) MG42 parts kit. The receiver was converted to a MG2/3 after the war and retains the green phosphate finish. All waffenamps are still intact on the receiver and war time parts so this kit can be either a MG42 or MG3. The Feed tray, Top cover and like new Steyr made barrel are all 7.62x51. All parts are in very good to excellent condition. Includes a very good post war bakelite stock. The cuts are clean and do not destroy the front booster bearing or rear buffer attachment points. Trunnion is mismatched and some small parts/springs missing but easily replaced at http://robertrtg.com / . This kit will be an easy reweld for a semi/dummy/SOT project. ALL NFA applies.

Kit is $1200 and buyer pays $25 UPS ground shipping to lower 48. This is a REALLY clean kit. Email me at [email protected] if you need more photos.

This is being cross posted on MG42.com so the first "I'll take it' in either open forum by date/time gets the kit.

Do not feel too bad "Mouse,":D ,,,,,,,,,if this post was not buried with so many others it would have sold quicker. Bullwinkle's kits are really nice; His receivers were not butchered like so many of the later imports were. It will make a great re-weld.

Thanks. No big hurry. I see this as a long-term project and I'll need to scrape up the funds anyway but consider it sold.
By the way, since you have experience with these would you be able to give me a list of what's missing?
