This Thread is by no means in support of Hillary ,But an interview on a small radio station In Austin Texas last week had a Rep on it from GOA.
The topic was the dismal future of the 2nd Amendment Gun rights with the three stooges.
Think about what this guy says ,instead of waisting your vote ,turn it into a revenge vote:
Obama is about the most dangerous candidate this country has ever had ,or being like he is has ever gotten this far ,he will polarize this country to the point of collapse.
McCain is almost as bad ,and now that he is talking people are seeing what a lot of people warned about all along .
His record shows he will bargain away your rights with the Democrats in his twisted vision of what America should be.
This leaves Hillary ,also not near one of my favorites.
But lets look at the last 6 months ,She has been shunned ,abandoned ,and scorned by all of the people she thought were on her side.
Embarrassed ,laughed at ,by her own Democrat ex friends in Congress.
From knowing the Clinton's ,they would love some pay back ,when asked last week if she would sign off on any gun control her response was ( Not at this point ,it would depend on who wrote it ,what it intended to do ,and how it would impact legal gun owners in the long run ,and even then i would need a lot of time to think about it ).
Sure she lies ,but she is the only one who has a motive at this point ,and her and the Dem. Congress will not be getting along.
Hillary came into this thinking she was unsinkable , now even her aids say she is a totally different person ,sort of like she had grown up or something.
The press didn't tell us that she had met with some Conservative groups actually asking them for their ideas ,what they thought should be done.
She is the only candidate that has said she was waiting for the decision of the Supreme Court on the DC gun ban and would follow what ever it was they said ,because they interpret the Constitution ,and upon taking the Office of the presidency ,i would be sworn to uphold it.
As McCain moves farther to the left ,it seems Hillary is moving to the right ,and not making a spectacle of it.

I have been reading other story's about this also ,if it were between McCain and Clinton ,i believe i would vote for Clinton.

I'm in the "anyone but Obama" mode. He's beyond dangerous with his naive "vision" of bringing people together. All he's succeeded in doing so far is fan the flames of a racial divide where it was just smoldering before. He makes even Clinton look good and that says a lot.

I guess it all depends on what happens between now and November and whether or not someone "relieves us" of the threat who's occupying the empty suit.

Obongo, Clinton, McInsane. Choose your poison.

Vet i totally despise her ,and yes its a ways yet to the Election.
But McCrap was not the Navy's fair haired boy ,he was passed over for promotion twice ,and finished in the bottom of his class.
He was prone to fits of anger ,was not reliable ,and one time was recommended for Psychiatric evaluation by the Flight Surgeon.
When he was shot down ,and i have heard this more than once, his shipmates were relived that he was gone.
McCrap doesn't see it coming yet but he is about to be given the Swift Boat treatment ,as he should.
At first they called Kerry a war Hero , it is about to all come out on this ass hat also.
Anyone who was in the Carrier Fleet has heard the stories of John McCain.
Suck ass ,lier ,Mommy's boy , Two faced ,Back Stabber ,Enlisted Men hated him ,he never backed them up , and the reason he was flying an A6 is because no other pilots wanted him as a wing man ,and this is about to come out thank GOD.
If nothing happens between now and November ,we better try to cut our loses ,and get at least the more stupid one of the Stooges in there.

I will find one of those Blogs written buy one of the Old Navy Vets about McCain.
The joke with them is when asked ,they say go watch the Mc......... Cain Mutiny ,and watch the end of it closely and you will see the John McCain as we knew him.
Why did the entire Democratic Party Dump Hillary ? why did they go for Obama ?
Because Hillary isn't Liberal enough for them , and in showing there support for Obama tells me a lot about the direction they want this Country to move.
Why are the Liberals saying if Obama isn't the Nominee ,they will vote for McCain.
Who here remembers that John Kerry wanted to have McCain as his VP?
Why was McCain the only Republican invited to their liberal party's at Pelosi or Teddy's house ?
The Liberals put McCain where he is now by voting for him in those states that allow you to vote either way.
I for one would rather vote for the one the Liberals threw out ,than the one who says he is Conservative but isn't.
Hillary knows something ,she stays in the race ,talks more like a Republican than McCain does ,and says something big is coming in August ,i believe it is also.

At least try to get some facts right. John McCain flew an A4 Skyhawk, not an A6. The very fact that he requested combat duty, and put himself in a plane over a target over North Vietnam where he was shot down makes me doubt your "Suck ass ,lier ,Mommy's boy , Two faced ,Back Stabber ,Enlisted Men hated him ,he never backed them up , and the reason he was flying an A6 is because no other pilots wanted him" story, right off the bat. John McCain is no way my first choice, in fact he's probably only ahead of Ron Paul on my list, but very few "mommy's boys" have ever had a jet shot out from under them. This is not someone who got a couple of Purple Hearts for bandaid wounds. I don't agree with him on many issues, but I at least respect him because he was a POW for what?, six years.

You don't want to vote for McCain then don't. But don't sit there and tell us Hillary, with all of her and Bill's history would somehow be better. A win in the House, the Executive office and 60 votes in the Senate means that every piece of legislation they want gets passed, and no grandfather or sunset clauses this time.

Wrong ,He flew an A4 when he was shot down ,but before that it was an A6.
He requested Combat duty in order to live up to the McCain name , but even at that i am not disrespecting him for his service ,only that he acts like he is the only one who had to undergo that ordeal.
I was aboard the USS Kennedy ,a lot of the CPOs aboard that ship were young kids aboard the USS Saratoga ,and the sister ship the USS Forrestal ,when McCain was attached to that Battle group.
Back then i don't think from what i heard from them they would entirely agree with you at all.
And it is about to all come out soon , I still email some of these guys ,and they cant believe anymore than most of us that this Jerk is where he is now.
He ran for the Presidency because like Dashale ,he wasn't going to get re-elected ,after his BS amnesty with Kennedy.
I was in his old Battle group ,were you ? Even the Weapons Officer on the Kennedy told us how when he was able to fly ,no one wanted McCain ,he was a retard maverick ,glory grabber ,intent on name recognition.
The so called mission he volunteered for was considered a routine operation.
Not that he isn't to be commended ,but to elevate this ass to some sort of high level hero status is playing into his BS ,suck ass ,MOA!
And a total disrespect for the pilots who never came back because they were not on routine missions.
I don't care if you don't believe me ,but i heard it from his old shipmates and i think he sucks.

McCain's A6E , before he cried enough to get an A4.
Notice the markings.

You know he can BS everyone else , Everyone who seems to forget the first thing he will do is Toss 20 million people their own country didn't want ,onto your tax roles.
the next thing is to pal up to the Democrats in some sort of rescue package for the economy after he just screwed it up with the first point.
If this mans mouth is moving he is lieing.
USS Kennedy ,we remember.

I think they all suck but advocating Hillary OR Obama instead to name the next two or three Supreme Court justices is, well, (metaphor here) like sticking your gun in your mouth. With them you have no chance. With McCain, it's all going to depend on who he picks as veep because he'll never be a two term President.

I don't buy that getting someone bad for gunowners is going to wake them up. Not without us losing a lot irreparably first. Last time we were saved by sunset and grandfather clauses. Think that will happen again? Even if we win on Heller in June, I'd bet that it will be a narrow ruling. That means that any other challenges will have to get there on their own merit. What would be the odds of a good ruling with a couple moderate justices replaced by far left. If they have 60 Senate votes, they can do it.

Mark my words. If Hillary doesn't pull out a nomination someway, somehow, then she'll be backstabbing Obama the whole way until November. She knows someone else will run in 2012 for the Repub's and it'll be her last chance. If Obama gets in, she'll have to wait until 2016 and she'll be 68 and even worse looking.

Again, I have no love of McCain, but I'd try attacking the real threats.

Dear ole Johns Grand Pappy and Pappy !
http://www.arlingtoncemetery.net/jsmccain.htm
Now why do you think Johnny got what ever he wanted ?
Why do you think that no other officers wanted to mess with him ,even if they out ranked him ?
Yes he comes from a long line of Decorated Navy Officers ,but does that make him some sort of Hero ?
It seems about everything Johnny did was covered up ,Last in his Class ,His Officers over him forced to tell things that were not true.
His Fellow pilots not thinking he was good to have around in a real fight.
Daddy telling him to make something of himself ,so the Capitan of his ship sends him on what should have been a simple mission.
Pilots in that Mission saying he would not follow procedure , after the fire on the Forrestal a lot of questions were coming up about his conduct toward the fire control crews burned badly in that fire.
His comments to the Enlisted men about what should have been done ,over riding the Capitan's orders.
His phone call to Daddy saying he was trying to get things under control but no one would listen to him.
His personal report to COM. Sat .Nav .link saying the Capitan was incompetent ,and the entire Crew was against him.
Go ahead ,i can post this crap all day ,And i hate Hillery ,but she is going to bring this out and it needs to be told.

I don't want Hillary ! i want the truth to be told about the ass hat McCain.
And the truth about Obama ,and if Hillary is backed in a corner she will come out swinging.
GOOD ,you go girl ,it will blow all three of there asses out of the water and i hope wake up the American people about what almost happened here.
Personally ,i want SCOTUS to do its job as the defenders of the Constitution ,and the only functioning branch of Government right now ,and declare what ever it was that George Washington declared , Bring back General Patreas as commander and chief ,suspend all functions of Congress pending investigation ,and stop this crap NOW.
The General has no love for Congress ,and it is the duty of SCOTUS to do exactly what i have said ,and they do have the power to do so.
We all talk Constitution ,it is time for it to show its teeth.
And the American people have the right to throw these people out and start over.

Flight leaders testimony in the Downing of Capt .McCains aircraft during routine operations over The Republic Of North Viet Nam.
Capt. McCain would not stay in formation ,or respond to previously issued Flight procedures.
In doing so his aircraft dropped below the allowable altitude to render him safe from Enemy ground fire.

This is from a transcript involving the incidence ,From Com Nav.Link .i am looking for something more conclusive so i can post it.
This is a second hand report from one of the other pilots ,i know i need a solid link and i will find it.
But you can bet your ass Hillary or Obama will.

One thing is being overlooked.McCain cannot hold office if elected.Read Article II of the Constitution,it clearly states that no one but a NATURAL born citizen can hold the office of President.McCain is just like Schwartznager .They are both NATURALIZED citizens with neither being NATURAL born in the US.The Democrats will bring this up if McCain is elected. To bad the Republicans dont run someone that can hold office if they win.

eh, he was born on a military base while his father was stationed there. that is US property and i would say natural born.

that is a pretty thin argument.

John McCain was born to two US citizens. Doesn't matter where he was born. If both your parents are citizens, so are you.

If the following isn't true, you can bet there are going to be a lot of pissed off people born to families of servicemen overseas on duty such as Germany or Japan who are going to be pissed that they aren't really citizens.

Acquisition of citizenship

There are various ways in which a person can acquire United States citizenship, either at birth or later on in life.

[edit] Birth within the United States

Main article: Birthright citizenship in the United States of America

The Supreme Court has never explicitly ruled on whether children born in the United States to illegal immigrant parents are entitled to birthright citizenship via the 14th Amendment,[2] although it has generally been assumed that they are.[3]. This has become controversial, as some non-residents enter the US as illegal aliens with the intent to give birth to children, often called anchor babies whose U.S. citizenship is unclear. A birth certificate is considered evidence of citizenship. This differs from most western nations; countries of the European Union which awarded citizenship to children born there (such as Ireland) closed this possibility.

In the case of United States v. Wong Kim Ark, 169 U.S. 649 (1898), the Supreme Court ruled that a person who

* is born in the United States
* of parents who, at the time of his birth, are subjects of a foreign power
* whose parents have a permanent domicile and residence in the United States
* whose parents are there carrying on business and are not employed in any diplomatic or official capacity of the foreign power to which they are subject

becomes, at the time of his birth, a citizen of the United States, by virtue of the first clause of the 14th amendment of the Constitution.

The distinction between "legal" and "illegal" immigrants was not clear at the time of the decision of Wong Kim Ark.[4]

[edit] Through birth abroad to two United States citizens

See also: jus sanguinis

In most cases, one is a U.S. citizen if both of the following are true:

1. Both parents were U.S. citizens at the time of the child's birth
2. At least one parent lived in the United States prior to the child's birth.

A person's record of birth abroad, if registered with a U.S. consulate or embassy, is proof of his or her citizenship. He or she may also apply for a passport or a Certificate of Citizenship to have his or her citizenship recognized.

[edit] Through birth abroad to one United States citizen

For persons born on or after November 14, 1986, a person is a U.S. citizen if all of the following are true:

1. One of the person's parents was a U.S. citizen when the person in question was born;
2. The citizen parent lived at least 5 years in the United States before his or her child's birth; and
3. At least 2 of these 5 years in the United States were after the citizen parent's 14th birthday.

A person's record of birth abroad, if registered with a U.S. consulate or embassy, is proof of his or her citizenship. Such a person may also apply for a passport or a Certificate of Citizenship to have a record of his or her citizenship. Such documentation is often useful to prove citizenship in lieu of the availability of an American birth certificate.

Different rules apply for persons born abroad to one U.S. citizen before November 14, 1986. United States law on this subject changed multiple times throughout the twentieth century, and the law as it existed at the time of the individual's birth controls.

[edit] Naturalization

A judge swears in a new citizen. New York, 1910

A person who was not born a US citizen may acquire US citizenship through a process known as naturalization.

[edit] Eligibility for naturalization

To become a naturalized United States citizen, one must be at least eighteen years of age at the time of filing, a legal permanent resident of the United States, and have had a status of a legal permanent resident in the United States for five years less 90 days before they apply (this requirement is reduced to three years less 90 days if they (a) acquired legal permanent resident status (b) have been married to and living with a citizen for the past three years and (c) the spouse has been a US citizen for at least three years prior to the applicant applying for naturalization.) They must have been physically present for at least 30 months of 60 months prior to the date of filing their application. Also during those 60 months if the legal permanent resident was outside of the U.S. for a continuous period of 6 months or more they are disqualified from naturalizing (certain exceptions apply for those continuous periods of six months to 1 year). They must be a "person of good moral character", and must pass a test on United States history and government.[5][6] Most applicants must also have a working knowledge of the English language.[5] There are exceptions, introduced in 1990, for long-resident older applicants and those with mental or physical disabilities.[7][8] This requirement for an ability to read, write, and speak English is not regarded as being too difficult, since the test requires that applicants read and write in English.

Yes,McCain is a citizen because of his parents being citizens .No question about that at all, I didnt say he wasnt. What I said was he isnt a NATURAL born citizen.Article II lists the 3 qualifications to be President,!)NATURAL born citizen 2)35 years old 3) 14 years a resident .This is the only job in the country that requires being a natural born citizen, according to the Constitution.Being born on a military base in a foreign land to American parents makes him a citizen ,but not a Natural born citizen. So this is not a thin argument at all.I dont think we own any of the land the military bases or on, but it is leased ground. If someone were just 30 years old they wouldnt be eligible either.Iam not rewriting the Constitution ,Iam just saying what I think it means.I could be wrong-but unless there is a amendment to change this qualification it stands as written.I think NATURAL BORN means being born in one of the 50 states of the United States.I know Iam not the first by any means to come up with this idea. Also it has never been tested that I know of,but there is a first time for everything.

Who cares about Mccains military career. The plain and simple fact is his voting record clearly shows he would sell out gun owners in a heartbeat. He does not hold conservative values and is just another rino, Mccain will not be getting my vote. Neither will Hillary or Obama for that matter.

Had to post this because its important. A couple of things all of you need to consider. John McCain is my Senator - I haven't voted for him for his last 2 terms, But I did vote for him in the past. But If a Democrat is elected President, Its going to be a rubber stamp for any bill that Pelosi wants, Reid will Stamp and so will the Prez. If McCain can get elected, at least we have a chance in swaying is objectives. We flooded him and everybody else in congress last summer with their incompetent Comprehensive Immigration Bill,
we can do it too the Prez alot easier. Just be careful who you vote for.

You know I understand the "don't throw your vote away mentality" but when does it stop? It is so frustrating having to choose for the least evil one just so you may have a chance to keep rights that we should never have to worry about being taken. When is the time to throw down the gauntlet and say screw it I am not voting two party anymore I am going to vote for the person who I think will do the best according to my beliefs? Why as a nation are we so damned locked into this stupid two party system. Is it tradition? Is it fear? What is it? It's time to show these blockheads in congress we will no longer go with status quo! Throw off this monkey riding our backs and vote like the way our forefathers set it up to be.

Please stop and think about it, we are doing a sincere injustice to our forefathers and to those who have fought and died for this country by voting for the lesser of two evils. Wouldn't you feel better at night voting for someone whom you truely beleive in? Even if he doesn't get in? We might get a terrible leader in consequence, and we might lose some rights but at least we stood up for what we believe in.
