This isn't the kind of "Mall Shooting" the media likes, first off the shooter was reported as black, they don't want to sound racist, second how the heck did a 230 pound man elude capture, just follow the empty burger wrappers, sound like a gangbanger or pissed off boy friend, no pycho white boys or possible link to terrorism so of course the media doesn't care.

Quite honestly, I don't even give a flying phuck about "Mall Shootings" anymore. The drama of these events ended for me after the over hype of the first couple, years ago. Now its such common knowledge that the antigun libtards will use it for their own agenda, it doesn't even phase me anymore. I wouldn't even turn on a TV to watch it if there was live video.
When they start hanging the perps on national TV, maybe I'll surf the channels a little to find it.

This is exactly what mayor daley and his group of gangster's needs to push for more extreme gun control measure's.
A while back the Cook Co. board was pushing for stricter gun control. Does anyone know if that has happened yet? I'm sure if it hasn't yet, they will use this as a club to get what they want.

Impossible....If they have the strictest gun laws in order to stop this sort of thing......I am so confused......How can restricting gun ownership in this town not have stopped a killer????

The Chicago news this morning said that all the victims were female, ranging in age from 22 to 37. As of now robbery appeared to be the motive but things went bad. The Lane Bryant store, located at a strip mall, where this accoured didn't have security camera's. The police are going by what witnesses saw.

Jeez,, ain't it a ***** that they're weren't any armed citizens around,,, they might have been able to save some lives. But then again,,, it was probably a "GUN FREE ZONE",,, if I was a Lawyer, I'd be thinking of seeing if the families of the victims were up for a HUGH Lawsuit against the Lawmakers,,, or yeah,,, thats right, the Police are not responsible to protect you against this sort of thing,,, silly me!!
Actually Tinley Park is a home rule community(has over 25,000 people)so the (passed a few years ago) village has it's own gun laws on their books so the Cook County Assualt weapon ban does not apply to them. And (most of the Village is in Cook County) also the shopping center is located in Will County. The problem is Illinois is only one of two states(Wisconson is the other) that do not have CCW, so these poor women were totally defenseless. Mayor Daley has been tearing down the housing projects and pushing their former residents into the souteast Chicago suburban area(which is just east of Tinley Park). Middle class blacks(good people that work and play by the rules) have been moving into these areas(eastern suburban Cook County) over the last few decades and they do not want these criminals from the housing projects either! I am at loss for words as to why we can't sue personally these elected officials every time we are victimized by criminals because of them denying us the right to protect ourselves(CCW).

sounds kind of like the Warsaw ghetto trick, or any of a dozen other victim disarmament ploys used over the last hundred years, I still think Katrina was awful convienient, they know a major push will start the revolt so they take it one step at a time, some scary days ahead! I have to add another layer of foil to my hat!

We here in IN ( I'm about 95 mi. from Chicago) grimace and shake our heads every time some stupid **** like this occures in IL. Right....only TWO STATES do not allow their citizens to carry a hand gun with a license....IL and WI. And where do the most victims suffer because of this....IL and WI.....duuuu. I gave up going across the state line w/o packing about 25 yrs. ago. Seems there are never enough smart people who realize just what happens to an un-armed person when they are confronted by a criminal with a gun....THEY DIE. Sometime in large numbers.....or (5) at a time like a mall store. Please God....give me a chance to wack a criminal in the comission of a crime. I'm just never in the right place at the right time.....jeeeeese.......
