All, Just bought several boxes of surplus ammo for my first M44. My question is what kind of ammo did I buy? The guy at the gun shop had no idea. The boxes are a faded green color with a silver stripe on one side. All ammo is 65 or 66 dated, green colored cases. Brass bullet with a silver tip. Can anyone help a newbie out by identifying this ammo? Also, good stuff or junk? I paid $2.99 per box of 20. Thanks
