Hello gents,

I wanted to see if there was anything special about this bolt before I decided to modify it for semi-auto. I purchased it years ago as an in-the-white 30-06 bolt. It appears in good shape. The only markings are a drawing number on the bottom (B-147299 SG), a flaming bomb, "C", and "P" all on the left (extractor) side. Any ideas on value? Thanks in advance!

Yep. Got that. Just wanted to make sure that this wasn't anything special before I cut on it....

I'd be inclined to agree with Chris. I've seen one other SG bolt in the white, it's just unusual. But I don't think that means it has any particular added value. You might want to not parkerize it, as it would stand out nicely in a parked gun.
