Thanks for letting me in!!!!!
I don't own a 1919, impossible in the UK unless deactivated, however I had plenty of use with them while serving in the British army, just before they removed them from service in 1990.
We had to get rid of all the ammo the unit had so we all had a damned good play!!!
I'm in the process of making a 2/ 3 scale non firing model at the minute to keep my engineering skills honed.
I'm sure I'll need some advice , details etc before too long.
Thanks again

Welcome...!! Nice to have a few more folks from 'across-the-pond' join us. I especially want to have former military guy's who appreciate our 'hobby' and can relate information on the use of various pieces of 'kit' used in both WW1 & WW2. If you can provide any knowledge or photo's of the use of the WW1 1917 US Army Machine gun carts,it would help me with my quest to write the history of these pieces of equipment.

Glad you can join us...!!
