I have always bought but never sold. And it has been some time. What is the best method to ship ammo, and least expensive? I am about to sell some 8mm. I have 21 bandoleers, 70 rounds each, of turk 8mm, 800 rounds of loose romy and a 150 round belt of romy, plus some various other ammo.
Thanks
Wally

Best and most legal is UPS ground, box it up and take it to one of the hub offices and not one of the outlet stores. Tell them what ya got and where it's going, they'll give you the ORM-D stickers, take your money and away it'll go.

Don't short change yourself, UPS prices have gone up! better tell the buyer a minimum of $12-15 to ship it. Don't use the USPS, if you get caught you'll be in deep ****.;)

I ship 7.62x39 ammo fairly often and about 5 pounds of it in the smallest box costs me $10-14 depending on the area it is being delivered to. If you go to their website they have a shipping calculator to help you out. ups.com

i just learned all about this. here is my experiance

UPS ground is the only viable option for me. all they require is an ORM-D Cartridges, small arms sticker - find an image online and print your own. my local UPS store, and the regular UPS main center both accept ammo without question

fedex - they want you to fill out a "declaration of dangerous goods form" and then when you try to turn it in even at there main hub managers need to get involved, and alot of hassle. forget shipping fedex kinkos, that aint happening.

and usps does not allow

so - in my experiance where i live, UPS ground is the only hassle free way to ship ammo. your mileage may vary
