I too have seen this. But I have lived in Maricopa county since 1972, We had air polution then and we have it today. The big problem is the county cannot meet the current EPA air quality requirements. TOO many People, TOO many Cars, TOO many building sites. If the county doesn't meet the standards, bye bye federal tax dollars. Maybe thats what needs to happen.

Sorry - Thats what happens went little cities become big ones in an area that is the desert southwest.

Will they bust the illegals coming from the desert? All of them hiking up is surely stirring up a dust cloud.

What the state needs to say to the EPA is, kiss our ass we arent playing your games. We wont pay your taxes & this is desert get over it.
Too many of anything is like saying flies cause garbage, its just a money maker, like traffic cameras, global warming and speed cameras-revenue generators.

If dust is stirred up on land by the wind with no one around, a property owner can be fined. A member of my family is certified by the EPA (his company has been fined before costing 100's of thousands of dollars for dust which is naturally reoccurring) and he says this is all bullshit passed to make it more difficult and expensive to build anything in AZ. They are working on banning gas powered lawn equipment altogether its been talked about a lot.

I sure hope you guys keep all this craziness down there, I watch the Phoenix news every night and I'm glad it's all 7 hours south, hopefully it will stay down there, at least I have Flaggstaff as a buffer zone, there are enough nuts there to slow anything down for a while, I keep waiting for the Nazi's that make these laws to realize that there is a lot more to Arizona then just the Phoenix valley, then they will try to get me to get smog checks and all that other silly stuff, thats the main reason I left caliprunia and came back here!
