I second that. Who cares? The news should on a daily basis be pounding on important issues, leave baseball and the steroids issue for the sports section of the news.

It's not the steroids that is disgusting in this case, It's the accusations of doing them on hearsay and undocumented evidence from what I see.

Mitchel had no subpoena powers nor the power of a grand jury Nd no testifying under oath, so to give any false testimony to him a penalty of purgery is ok, any rumors, hearsay, false accusations are probably included. Nothing to truely back up the incriminations,. but it's enough to ruin some careers.

They (the named players) can deny it all,.. nothing will ever be proven, but their names will be smeared forever by mitchell,.. I'm sure some are guilty but no evidence supports it,. as of yet,

And Bonds is up on charges for lying,.. not steroid use.. that is pending..

I think the Libs want this to become a issue coz their candidates look bad, they lose on the war and security issues and they are not in touch with the people they represent, just their base

i just can't feel badly for people who get caught doing something wrong. Clemens may have been a class act but apparently he was on the "juice" so his career and accomplishments should be tarnished.

Y'know, ever since the rise of CNN (Chicken Noodle News) the 24 hour a day format of news has developed from "NEWS" to whatever is out there to fill 24 friggen hours.

I think the news was a lot better, more concise and to the point when it was on for 30 minutes to an hour per night. There was less hairspray, less demand for "pretty" newscasters and newscasters with MUCH smaller egos.

Today it's all bullshit. Gas prices spike when a Mazda Miata t-bones a tanker truck and stays up there until after the weekend. In my county in Ohio, there's only one gas distributer, so the entire county is screwed with whatever he charges all the gas stations. Go 18 miles to the East, next county is 18 to 20 cents a gallon cheaper all the time... several distributers.

Bullshit. I don't buy anything in my county if I can possibly help it.

Where was I going with this? I'm tired.

i dont understand why baseball players and football players can't juice up. why is that an issue? if they abuse it they are only hurting themselves. someone "explained" that it offers an unfair advantage. well tiger woods had his eyes lasered so his vision is like 20/10 in one eye and 20/8 in the other. so tiger can see which way the green breaks better than other golfers...sounds like an unfair advantage. in fact i submit steroids should be mandatory, maybe baseball wouldn't be as boring if you had a bunch of roided out freaks with bats running around.

Who cares is right.....I can proudly say that I have never in my entire fiftyone year life EVER watched a sports game of any type from beginning to end and I have never paid to see one, nor would I.
If I am watching TV (a rare happening except for a local weather report) and a sports commercial or sports segment on the local news comes on, I immediately change the channel or turn it off.

If Americans put one percent of the energy, effort and enthusiasm they expend watching and following sports teams and players, into anything of substance and importance this country would advance tenfold in a year.

Usually the same people who can tell you the entire life history of any sports team member in five different sports doesn't know who their local, state or federal representatives are, how to balance their checkbook, or even how to change the oil in their car. Their brain is stuffed full of useless, irrelevant information. In other words, they are some of the dumbest fucks walking on two feet.
