I got a 122 tripod, 3 pintles, and 2 T&E assys. for $500!:D

From what I have gethered here, that seems to be a pretty good deal.

I plan on trading off the extra T&E and maybe one of the pintles for some stuff I'll be needing for my soon to be here John McGuire semi 1919.

I guess I'll be looking for a belt linker and a few other things that y'all said I needed.

dude, you suck:D
congrats on your find!
I'd be interested in the extra T&E if you decide to sell/trade.

I 2nd that!:D
I'm still looking for one of those yard sale deals, like a M2 for $25
Hey, it looks like my T&E assys. have an extra piece of gear attached to the "top" of them. I looked all through the 1919 pics thread and I couldn't get a close up view of a T&E.

Can someone post a pic for me of the T&E from a few dif. angles?

The extra piece looks like an "H" somewhat with a springloaded plunger in the middle.

I think it must be for a different gun or something.

That's for an M60. If it's a removable "H" adapter, you can take it off and use the T&E on a 1919. I think there are M60 only T&E's only, but the H adapter type are pretty common.
What's a 122 tripod? Somebody got a pic?
Ah, I see!

So the H adapter thingy is pretty much useless to a 1919 gunner, eh?

It's held on by a nifty cross pin that has snap rings on each end.

Thanks for the info!

Some guy was trying to sell a M122 tripod, 3 pintles, and 2 T&E assemblies for $500 on another forum. It turns out they were found in a building right near the Chernobyl reactor accident. If you start feeling funny, I would at least have them checked for radiation levels.

Just kidding :D

Good for you. Anything 1919 sells pretty fast if the price is right.

The price will be right!

I just need a few things in trade, and I'm real easy to deal with!

Balming: I have a CD radiation detector, also several dosimeters, if you want to send them to me, I'll check them out. A Radioligist tech at your local hospital might me accomodating too.

That's an OK deal I guess. I bought a WW2 tripod, T&E, pintle, some belts, and a 1918 "belt loading machine" on eBay a couple of years ago for $250. :p

Feel free to hate me! :)
