I'm working on a short run of 4 aluninum adaptor plates that convert the M7 to link .30-06 / 7.62mm / 8mm. Requires no modification to the existing linker (other than removal of the pins and front guide plate)and installs in about 15 minutes. It links 16 rounds at a time. Price? $99.00 plus shipping. I'll be shipping next week.

Tom

Thanks for the compliment. I'm also have the M7-2 which is for the M13 link.

Going to be shipping linkers the last week of the month. I've got more material on order and that should be in this coming week. I'm enjoying 2 of my grandsons and my daughter and my SIL right now.

Best Regards,
Tom

so do you make just a regular 50bmg linker??

price?
Hi,

The reality is that if you have an M7, you already have the heaviest linker out there for the .50bmg. If your going to use it to link more than one caliber or style, I can build a .50 cal adaptor that would change back to .50 in about 2 minutes so that you could install any plate I make in about 2 minutes. Currently I'm looking at a .510 DTC plate, so anything that is .50 bmg or smaller is possible. I suppose if I hand a belt, I'd try to load a belt with it 16 at a time. I just use that base for all my other designs since I don't have to improve it at all. And typically they aren't very expensive (about $75 plus S&H). I only produce adaptors for the M7 to whatever your needs are. I'm looking for a supply of M7s to sell as well.

Regards,
Tom

P.S. Rocky, I've got you down for one. (M7-1 or M7-2?)

Loading belts especially .50 cal. poses a challenge. I'm wondering if it's possible to load 10 at one time in a link loader type device with perhaps come kind of gripping device for the belt? And at the other end would be would there be a market for it?

Tom

Hi Rocky, I didn't mean to confuse you. The designation M7-1 or M7-2 is my designation for the adaptor plate which I make for the M7 .50 cal linker to convert it to something other than .50 cal. M7-1 is my part number for the adaptor plate for linking 30-06/7.62mm/7.62mmR/8mm on M1 or Izzy links. M7-2 is my part number for the adaptor plate for linking 7.62mm on M13 links. It's very likely that M7-3 will be for linking .510 DTC. I haven't seen the links for the cartridges yet. I suppose I could buiild a linker for anything if someone provides the links and some dummy cartridges. Does that help?;)

Best Regards,
Tom
