Just my opinion, but from a tactical perspective, leaving the ruskies arms in calibers non standard to them is a wash. I am positive that ammo would be more valuable to either side. Most of what else I saw in the video was junk. Those 1928 Tommy's and Vickers NIB were sure cool though!

Russia makes or has the capacity to make all those calibers. But i have to agree they are not as valuable as modern arms to either side.

We need to force and immediate end to this war and a normalizing of relationship with both sides so we can again import these guns as parts kits! I sure do miss the day of $300 Russian Maxim parts kits and $100 Mosins...

It’s like a milsurp fantasy land down there, what I would do for one of those new in the wrap thompsons or maxim 1910s……

If we can't get to them as a for-profit endeavor, can they be obtained via a 501C Not-for-profit "MILSURP Historical Society"? We would go on a humanitarian mission to rescue these items (in the form of kits). We can argue (legitimately) that it is for preservation of these vintage items and continued study of the field.
