Local guy...

Gentleman named Benjamin Blatt is a lawyer who specializes in firearms issues, cases, case law and firearms trusts. I keep his cards in my shop and have known him and his father for many years. Can't give any info...but you should be able to get his contact info off the net.

if you're doing a trust because your CLEO refuses to sign your paperwork, I advice you to wait until 13 july when 41F goes into effect. 41F eliminates the CLEO sign off, so you don't need to spend a few hundred bucks for a lawyer. use the money to buy ammo instead of giving it to a lawyer.

I haven't kept up on the laws. Looking to build a few SBR's, maybe a silencer or two. CLEO signature isn't a problem. What is most important to me is that certain persons are capable of possessing the Trusted NFA items as needed and especially in the event of my death. This has been on the bottom of importance for a few years but it's time to address.
