Here's one I've never seen until a recent UPS delivery.

A island design I've not seen or heard of . Well mostly the Bolt & bbl ext. Not sure why the Upper bolt groove is in the driving spring channel...Perhaps it was an easy option? Seems like 1 groove would be sufficiant ? Not sure on all the specifics on the build but I'm quite pleased with the purchase.

Yes Sir....There are actually 5

2 for bolt

2 for bbl ext

1 down low and way out back for Lock Frame


I believe a member here built this years ago...How many ??

Would like to have a chat with Him and Learn all I can about this one as it is a Keeper.

TNW and I think, Black Bear used a 2 island setup with one of them being high and over the drive spring hole. Because the islands are narrow, I'm guessing that it would run smoother? Just guessing on that though.

Very interesting the drive spring cut and lower bolt cut is almost the same as OOW`s ,MA&T /TNW`s .

I think that is just the breech lock cam screw possibly an allen head screw.

That is correct. Allen screw. I've got to fix that along with a couple other things. Proper booster,extractor,rear cartridge guide,cocking lever and front sight.
