I can't speak to IO's stuff, but if you want a "new" BREN...

barrel contact Don Bell at Omega Weapons Systems. Don has great stuff at reasonable prices. I highly recommend him. You will not be disappointed.

Check out his other stuff too. You never know what will pop up.

I ordered one of the Interordnance Mk1 Bren barrels the other day. I'll report when it arrives.

I put little faith in "handpicks" from the big vendors, so I ordered the $50 one.

I can remember getting two beautiful full Bren parts sets from IO about 8 years ago, but I'm sure they're near the bottom of the barrel (Ha ha) now.

Dan is right about Omega having nice barrels. I have two of those, both NOS. They're Mk2, though.

I got a MkI and MkII barrel from IO recently. The MKI was frosted and worn finish outside, but still very much useable. The MkII barrel was EXC with maybe storage wear. Like new bore. No hand pick on either.

I also got one of the Omega Bren MkII barrels. It was in the wrapper new. Pristine.
