YEah got the call at 930 am and called up Pirate... un freakin believable oh well hopefully wait for october. Can you say alot of money down the drain..

did you in some fashion lose money because it was canceled? i know i will now need some things shipped instead of picking them up so that sucks. you were not vending or anything were you frank?
i do feel pretty badly for a lot of the vendors who were gearing up for the event. and the range itself will not have the funds from the event that they normally generate. this will be a pretty bad year for them i'd guess. i am pretty depressed about it but i know my extra spending is minor compared to some peoples losses. that sucks for them big time.
think of all the hotels that will be losing funds now too.

Having been there several times with mud up to my axles, if they said its flooding it must be severe.
Last time it took us over 40 minutes to get out of the parking lot.
And I thought my 4x4 could go anywhere. Ate humble pie for a while.

Well I called to double double check. The nice lady on the phone confirmed it. Flooding is not suppose to go down for a week or more... its cancelled. I was going to make my first trip this time... and I can not make the next time. So it looks like at least another year for me...

well I was ordering stuff but now that id have to pay shipping + hazmat I decided not to get it.. I was just saying for the vendors and hotels etc sad really...

HOLY MACKERAL....!!! I've just lost over $500.00 in shipping costs on stuff I was going to pick up there....now have to have it shipped. Imagine how much others have lost ....venders,KC Range,hotels,restaruant's all the gas stations.....the list goes on and on. This is the FIRST TIME in my memory that this has occured...EVER for the KC meet/gunshow. Build party in Indy should not be affected....

You don't even know how bummed we are, this is the first show that we were truly 110% preppared for. I'm so glad that we found out before sending the pallet out this morning. now to cancel our 2000+ dollars in airline tickets

Oh its a sad day. Got the call this morning about 9am. I actually had all my ammo belted and ready ahead of time for the first time ever.
I was counting on the possibility of 2 more knob creeks before the end of the world as we know it. (chance a demtard will get in the whitehouse) Now there is only one creek left. Oh well, I guess we will see what happens in october.
