OK, Not much into the water cooled, due to lack of funds. I was wondering if this is a water can. Maked on top lid "c3803" and on the bottom "SMC"

Bottom cap is brass. Heavy metal casing.

Yes

First ones were called water boxes, 2nd type CHEST WATER M1, 3rd type CHEST WATER M1A1.


1st type to 3rd (right to left). Dont know why I never took a picture of the tops.

What is it worth

Thanks for the information. As I said, I do not have a water cooled, only due to a house I am building. I have 2 1919a4's and would love to add one but not now.

I have had a few people interested in this can. What is it worth?

I think I am going to sell it. I guess it would be cheaper to sell than buy the watercooled gun to go with it, but not as fun.

Only rust is surface. Inside is very nice. I would have thought there would be plenty of rust on the inside. Very solid and would look great once cleaned up. The top opens and closes fine. Old gasket still in place.

My only problem is I am not sure at what price. I would be open to offers.
