I went out this morning and fired my Colt Vickers Aircraft gun. I shot 30-06 using Aircraft disintegrating links. All on top of the Colt Vickers tripod. Everything ran really good. It was a good morning.

You should be able to use Turkish aluminum Maxim belts to feed 30.06 ammo into your Vickers. That's what I use with my Vickers when shooting 30.06 ammo. Regular British Vickers cloth belts are too thick and will jam in your feed block.

I might have a few Turkish aluminum Maxim belts around. I need t look. I tried these with my 8mm Turkish Vickers and could not get them to feed correctly. I was thinking of switching to cloth.

You should be able to use Turkish aluminum Maxim belts to feed 30.06 ammo into your Vickers. That's what I use with my Vickers when shooting 30.06 ammo. Regular British Vickers cloth belts are too thick and will jam in your feed block.

Well that's no good. I have used them with 30.06 Vickers, 8mm MG08, and 8mm 08/15 and never had any issues with them. Plus you can hand load them easily. Dolf was the one who turned me on to them when I got my 30.06 Vickers parts. Of source 30.06 Vickers links work as was shown in the videos, but they are so damned hard to find.

I have no idea as I don't have enough .303 to run in my Vickers. IMA says it does. But then again, they say these are German belts and they are not. Give it a shot. You have nothing to lose.

I use the aluminum belts with 30-06. They work good. I used the links today... well just because I never have. I’ve had them sitting around and I thought 1 little box of 10 won’t hurt.

I also have some 30-06 Barrels I’m thinking of selling or trading. Anybody know the current price for these? Not the gunbroker price. I wouldn’t do that to you guys.
