Looks like APEX has A6 bipods and A6 stocks for sale. Do you need a special A6 booster in order to use the bipod, or can you just use a A4 "standard" booster? Does the bipod ring just get tightened against the barrel jacket, or go into some slot on the A6 booster? Thinking about getting a A6 stock/bipod set, I just do not want to change any other parts.

The Izzy sets apex has are what you want. Stock clamps on. Bipod slides over shroud and locks in place with a spring loaded lug. No change to the gun is required the Izzy stuff is all QD.
I’d get what you need quickly. APEX priced this stuff very aggressively and it won’t be long before it’s gone.

As Abonimog said, the APEX Izzy bipod is what you want unless your building an all USGI gun. Besides the great price these bipods will allow some slight canting of the barrel where as the USGI version will not. APEX is also a great company to deal with and are as reputable as you could wish for. Good luck in whatever you decide.
