Not sure where to post this but hope it's ok in here... I was just given 20 Izzy links new in the box.. They look exacly like the several thousand 1919 likns I have that are linked up with M2 Ball I have sitting here...The question is this.. Are the 308 Izzy links that same as the 1919 M2 Ball links?

The USGI 1919 links are for 3006. they have a small shoulder or curved lip on the smallest ring that goes on the neck of the cartridge. the izzy links for 7.62X51 (308) don't have that lip on the smallest ring. they are just straight like the other two rings.

I did a search and saw a earlier post showing the differences bwtween the Izzy and 1919 30-06 links.. thanks for the info!!!
