At his wife's request, this is to let you know John McGuire's father passed away this evening. John indicated a few days ago, that his father was very ill, and might not have much longer. John is now home

Those of you who are having work done by John, please be patient during this time. And if you would remember Him and his family in your prayers, that would go a long ways

Thank You fellow Shooters

:( John; I'm very sorry to hear about your father. I can sympathize, as I lost mine when I was 19 and it's a hard thing to face losing a parent at ANY age. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, and for your father.

John

we knew about your Father and his poor health and prayed for him and your Mom and her hip. As it is written, "Absent the body, present with The Lord". May the Good Lord be with you and your family, always, John. Your brother in Christ, Graham

My Dad by John McGuire

Cleveland Braxton McGuire born May 6, 1928 Passed March 26, 2008
Father Jesse Lee McGuire Mother Nellie Hillis McGuire
Last of his brothers and sisters. I thank my mother for his long life. She took care of him as only a loving wife can do. My mom Ruth Elaine Faulk McGuire and my Dad where married in 1949. Dad had no education at all never even went to the first grade. He started driving a 4 mule hitch in the woods pulling logs when he was 6yrs old. His last job was at a lumber mill driving a fork lift. He worked there over 30yrs at that job and I can't remember him ever missing a day. He made sure myself and my two sister went to school and never missed any days that we could get out of bed. My sister Linda and I both receved college degress from Tenn. Technological University. My sister Jane did not want to go to college. She has raised a beautiful Daughter and Son. Her son James was on the all army rifle team and was a distinguished rifleman at age 17 and won third In the President's 100 at Camp Perry at the age of 16. Jame's sister LaJuana is a wonderful young woman that has raised three fine children and works with babies at a day care center.
My sister Linda is a 2nd grade teacher. She has two children. Kim has a degree from Tenn Tech and is an assistant manager in Kroger's management program. Her brother Todd has applied to the TN Highway Patrol and will graduate from college in May.

I have one stepdaughter Katherine Vaughn and one son Sean Patrick McGuire.Katherine has a RN degree from Tenn Tech and is the public relations representative for Cookeville, Tn Regional Hospital.

My son Sean is a Sgt in the US Army MP Corp and is a military working dog handler. He is applying for a position in the Border Patrol. He has served in Korea, Germany, and Iraq. Stationed now at FT Bliss Texas.

Just a little bit about what my Dad has accomplished. He loved his family and was the happiest when they where all around him.

Thanks everyone for your thoughst and prayers.

Your Friend
John McGuire
