I finally got all the parts for my A6, found the flashhider at Indy. This is a Weaponeer group buy WWII USGI .30-06 kit. All USGI A6 parts, stamped A4, X'ed out and stamped 6. She looks sweet and runs just as good. I must be getting old and feeble though, that 32.5 lbs. makes her pretty hefty, I wouldn't want to tote her too far. Could have done it 40 years ago in my 20's in Nam but fat and lazy has set in.

Who had the flash hider, did you get it from Gary Volker?

Do you wanna sell the Steam Chest in the background behind the A6? ;)

That is one sweet looking Browning. Looks very much like mine, except I can't install the flash hider here in the PRK.

The all-USGI A6 is really a unique thing these days. Nice job, Cav Trooper! :D

Nice A6

Mine is an Izzy half breed with a M6 flashhider.

I know about the old and fat stuff!

From the parking lot to the bench is about 70 feet, far enough.

I don't know which booth had the flash hider. He was in the 2nd isle in the middle room down from the restrooms. He had alot of Milsurp stuff. I also picked up a 1917a1 tripod leather tool bag and a 1917a1 barrel. Sorry, no sale on the steam chest, we are just finishing up our 1917a1's and the cans are newly acquired to go with them.

Yep sounds about right, big guy with a cigar and grey/white hair. Easier to wrestle a bear than to get him to come down on any prices! I picked up one of his tool bags the last show too, he's been sitting on this stuff for about 30 years and just dribbles it out now and then.

Sounds like you're doing well, good luck on the WC build and it's a nice looking A6!

Thanks. That's the guy, white hair, big as a bear. I couldn't get him to come down a nickle on anything.
LOL, Yeah that's Gary. The thing is he has nearly everything that you might want or he can find it for you eventually, but you're gonna pay for it!
Don't feel bad about not getting a discount, I have dinner with him at a friends house every Saturday night that's there's a gun show in town and I've only ever gotten 5.00 off of an item and that was only one time! He's the king of his stuff is gold and yours is crap, but don't take it personal he's not a bad guy, just a hard business man. And he does have some good stuff!

+10 on what Mouse said! Gary knows his stuff! Somewhere around here I've got a stack of receipts worth of stuff that I've picked up from him over the years. He has some NICE stuff!

If he ever comes into the 1990's and gets a computer and sells online, he'd be a millionaire with the goodies he has!

Thanks for the compliments guys, I'll try to get some closeups when I get some time. I'm trying to get my 1917a1 started then on to the Vickers and our 50's. Plus the honey-do list. This stuff sure is addicting. Now Knob Creek is just around the corner.
