Has anyone used the vendors at KCR for having their 1919 parked? If so what was the cost and how pleased were you with the results? Do they have to be dis-assembled & bead blasted first or is this another option for work they will do? Any information is appreciated.

mt-ac just talk to 30cal machine gunner and or go to his next build party. park it then. or pay him to do it. er something.

IIRC, I believe they quit doing that at KCR, something about all the hassles.

2nd you attending a build party, you'll learn everything and meet great people.

That company hasn't offered that service for over half a dozen years or better. Main reason was, yes, you had to have everything disassembled and blasted before you walked in... who the hell could do that and not have a seething rust o' bucket well started? I saw several of the 'samples' of stuff they had there (and they looked great), but who knows if it was done there or at 'the office'?

Well, basically very few people took advantage of the deal and they folded their tent.

Here is the info on them. I had mine done about 3 or 4 years ago. The park job was great but... When I asked them the price before I went , they said about $115, when I got there it went to $175.
