The mission of our schools today is not to educate but to indoctrinate. By not teaching our young people the basics and history of how our government works, what exists beyond our borders, they(the elites ie. Hillary and her buddies) then can tell people what is good for them instead of allowing us to get the facts and through our own thinking process come to a conclusion as to the best course of action to move to different resolutions on the issues of the day.

See how the NEA(the NEA president said he will represent the interests of school children when they start paying union dues)(which is an arm of the Democratic party) has turned our schools into politically correct indoctrination centers! They spend time learning what goods the Indians were trading with the other tribes, about historically insignificant, politically correct figures instead of Washington, Jefferson, Jackson, WWI, WWII, and other significant historical times that would help guide us in our decision making process to prevent us from repeating histories mistakes. Looking at this in hindsight it is histerical that in 1940 Roosevelt campaigned on the slogan "No American boys for foriegn wars" (Roosevelt knew that the sooner we got in, the better chance we would have of turning back the tide of the lunatics of that day. But the American people were wishing and hoping that if they covered their eyes maybe the nightmare would go away). Winston Churchil was ridiculed when he advocated in their parliment(in the mid 30's) to stop Hitler now before it is too late. These historical significant occurrences are not being taught to our children. The elites tell us that we are too stupid to understand national and international economics, so leave it to the professionals. It is not too different than your small business or personal everyday economic issues you deal with only there are more zeros on the dollar amounts. Even educated professionals are only narrowly knowledgible(in their fields) and they were taught in school to let the professional politicians solve the issues of the day(by stealing a greater share of your earnings through taxes). Like Bill Clinton said I would cut taxes but the people are not smart enough to know what to do with it. Isn't it funny that you are smart enough to earn it?

I don't know the answer to that(about allowing uninformed people to vote) but you are right in that how can tremendously uninformed people make voting decisions.That is why we must retake our schools back and put an emphasis on teaching them our history and customs and giving them not only the ability but creating a yearning to analyze the information and arrive at their conclusion vs being spoon fed by the mainstream press and our elite politicians. Think of the wisdom in our founding fathers making the income tax unconstitutional. As the saying goes it would be like the two wolves and the sheep voting as to whats for dinner. The simple majority rule is another word for mob rule! As a republic with other checks and balances they did a pretty good job protecting the individuals rights.I let them come after my nieghbor because it wasn't me, when they came for me nobody cared either. But they never foreseen the Surpreme Court(I might add they now make up whatever they want) being the ultimate super legislative body with no checks on it. We do not have any Andrew Jackson's defying them and telling them to enforce their rullings because he would not!
