yes they will work with .308 rounds......but you can't seat them all the way in the link, a 30.06 link is smaller in diamter then the .308 round.
it's the large link that is smaller.....30-06 rounds are smaller in diamter then .308 rounds....... if you fully seat the 308 round in the 30-06 link, it will be a very tight in there, and the extractor/ejector may not be able to pull out the round from the link.TuscoTodd said:slowfire -

Just so that I understand correctly, you say that the -06 links are smaller in diameter than .308 links - I am assuming that you are referring to the small end of the link? (if that makes sense?) And it is that restriction that keeps the links from fully seating?
