was pontificating about global warming this week at the exact moment when China was having the worst snow storm in 50 years with 200,000 stranded and now mulit-millions of acres of crop lands ruined. Billy Boy was spouting how we must curtail our economy to prevent greenhouse gasses at the same time-. Why don't they start eliminating the most dangerous gasses by shutting their pie holes before facts make them look like the uninformed panderers they are???? Fact check with Drudge Report.  Overbore

If you watch the History Chennel, you'll learn that the planet's climate has been changing since before people were ever around. Soooooo it will continue to despite any efforts people put forth.

According to Drudge a few minutes ago, the number of stranded In China is now 1.5 million!! For the first time ever the Gobi Dessert is covered in snow AND THIS WEEKEND THERE IS MORE BAD WX EXPECTED!!! Global warming comes with two shovels; one for the snow and one for the BS with the latter larger than the former!!!
Good news: Hltlery is sending Him to Antartica-- on a campaign trip-talk about chilling out!!! :D :D :D Overbore

Global warming is just another scam, last year we started hearing about "CARBON CREDITS" and now there is talk about passing a carbon credit tax for all the sheeple to pay & pay & pay! pretty soon America will be part of the third world & we will be using a horse & wagon until they decide that the horse creates too much methane! So keep your wheel barrow handy it may be the only transportation you are allowed under the hitlery socialist system.

Screw them all Drill in Anwar Alaska! cut our dependancey on overseas oil and tell the world to stuff it!

what cracks me up is the line "the ice caps will melt and rising sea levels will flood the land" ,well they need to do some math. first if the artic cap melted, the sea level would drop, not rise. the antartic ice cap is aproximately 3% of the ocean area. even if the ice were several miles thick the increase in sea levels will be neglible.

Quiet!!

You're not supposed to think rationally! As a matter of fact, you're not supposed to think at all. Just watch the Boob Tube and BELIEVE!

Y'know, for the last 20 something years the Martian polar ice cap has been progressively smaller and smaller each year. Either the sun is going through some hormonal thing or our "green house gases" are affecting Mars.

Wonder what Algore says about that?

The sun is heating up, just part of the cycle, that has been proven. JMHO, "man-made" Global Warming is a myth, and only IDIOTS believe in that BS. One day most people will figure this out, they've been had, and they're going to be extremely pissed off.

All the tree huggers are crying in their soy milk for the poor polar bears. They'll get along just fine on dry land, with no ice. And as far as the ice caps melting and the glaciers melt, etc, etc... just how did Greenland get named Greenland if at one time it wasn't actually green?

It's all cyclical. I'm enjoying the piss- ant Ohio winters, if the truth be told. I'm from New England and can't believe what wimps live here.

Ooo! Oooo! MIGHT snow tomorrow. Guess what. Everyone and their mothers are raiding the local Freaky-Mart and wiping out all the milk, eggs, bread and flashlight batteries. Every time. Had to park 100 yards out by the road and the wimmen are arguing over checkout lane turf.

Damn, all I wanted was a lotto ticket and a 12 pack of Corona.

Well I am very pissed off at AlGorithm. I need him to send me a lot of that global warming. I live in northern Arizona and night before last it was 15 below zero. Tonight it is going to be a balmy 10 degrees above but Sunday and Monday night it is suppose to go well below zero again.

global warming?

Hagar, where in norther AZ do you reside? I'm up here in Fredonia, about as far north as you can get! I wish the global warming would hurry up and get spring here a little sooner, I'm sick and tired of not being able to get out and play, normally up here we get a couple little snow storms each year, but the snow melts fast and in a couple days it's nice again, this winter these piddling little snow storms never quite melt away before the next one comes in, nothing like they are getting up north west or back east, but still I'd to have our normal temps. I watched a program on one of the learning channels where they were interviewing this scientist about his theory of global warming, it was different then the accepted, and some one let slip the whole reason for the big stink they are creating, they said " Billions are being spent on studying this problem" that is the exact reason they are making such a fuss, it's good for the eggheads that want another grant to study some stupid obscure thing that doesn't interest anyone else and doesn't have an ounce to do with making this planet a safer or healthier place to live, I has a doctor tell me years ago that they could cure cancer if there wasn't so much money in treating it, I believe the same thing goes for the IRS and the DEA, way too much money for anyone to want to actually cure the problems. I like that bit about hellery sending Billy boy to Antartica, after living with her he should feel right at home!

The planet has been around for a long time,, the climate has changed many times,, I have some huge boulders on my property that were left behind by the last glacier,, the magnetic poles have changed too,,, the Warming Nuts don'tr want to hear this,,, the sky is falling and you had better accept it or else.

On the other hand, the next batch of petroleum isn't quite ready yet,,, actually unless there isn't a Global Die Off,, there won't be any coming anytime real soon.

No matter where we drill, the oil found will go to the highest bidder,, if they find it in Alaska and the Chinese will pay the highest dollar for it, I doubt the Oil Company will get a case of the Patriotics and sell it to Mom and Pop's All American Oil Co Inc, to be sold at a bargan basement price to benefit the poor Taxpayers of this country,,, ya know what FAT chance means.

I go thru life trying to leave the smallest wake,, take what you need, and leave the rest,, only the land endures.

Lou,
Up here in North Idaho we are having the biggest snow in more than 20 years.
It seems like we get snow every day. I have more than 4 feet and it is still coming. Wish I could send you some.

I live in Parks, AZ about 20 miles west of Flagstaff. The last time I was in Fredonia was 1975. I helped construct a water reservoir just a few miles west of town. I'm not sure about the name of that bar on the north end of town but its claim to fame was suppose to be the longest one in Arizona. I can believe it. You needed roller skates to get around.

We are having a good winter this year. I don't like all the bad weather but we sure need the water around here. The cold temperatures are because where I live its elevation is 7,000 feet. We are a lot higher than Denver. :)

I live on the beach of NC. I have not seen the ocean rise above normal tidal line since I moved here in 1994. People are doing this and making the price of property go down. From what I can see the ice melts and then snow replaces it. The ocean heats up and water evaporates. There is water in the air and then it rains and snows. Simple science. True we might want to keep pollution down but dont listen to the press,,they are the ones pushing the 2008 election the way they want you to think.
