Last year I bought 20,000 links from a guy in Ohio. They were advertised as being Israeli links and capable of being loaded onto 30-06, 308, and 8mm.

Over time I have acquired more links through trades, etc. These links are in cardboard sleeves marked US 30 cal.

My problem is I cannot tell a difference in these links. I have measured them with a Micrometer and there is very little difference between them.

My 1919A4 will be in 308 and I would like to know that the links that I paid a pretty penny for will be able to be used when I am done.

Is there any resource to find out for sure what I have?

there is a link on the 1919a4.com front page on the right side under Resources for identifying links that had a pic you could use. sorry I can't find it on my laptop hard drive and the link from the front page is currently dead.
maybe Shots or a mod has the image and can fix the link or post the pic for ya here on the thread! i know i have the image, but it must be on my PC. :(

link ID.

One easy way to tell is if the small link (front) is straight or has a slight bell to it.
If it's straight it's most likely .308 it it has a bell or lip on it it's 30-06.
Also the Izzy links (.308) came in sleeves of 20 links but there should be some Hebrew markings on them.
