Forget the headspace guage, you don't need it.

Better and safer to set headspace with the internal out of the gun.

Add Leather Gloves, it gets dirty running a belt fed
Nice to have a spare bolt and sear in case the t-slot breaks or a leg on the sear goes (been there done that).
Mallet (to beat the top cover back in shape after a blow out)
Broken shell extractor

Add a cleaning rod in case of a squib or stuck bullet.
Or, optionally, another barrel and some duct tape, so if you get a stuck bullet, you can change out the barrels, duct tape the old one bore-to-bore with the new one, and then shoot the stuck bullet back down the barrel.

Don't tape the barrels chamber to bore though, that would just be silly. You would have two stuck bullets that way.
