any one out there know if this m1a1 water chest would have a gasket in the bottom cap to seal it the top one has a gasket and the can looks like new old stock unless some one did a good repo job the inside of the can is red no rust any help would be appreciated thanks tank

My M1 and M1A1 have a small round leather gasket in the cap. It fits down in the very bottom. I would think that rubber would be a better fix if you plan on useing it to hold water.

Edit: I walked away to do something before posting and Cav Trooper answered the question. It wasnt there before.

Way to many hours spent on EBAY that some say doesnt have anything anymore. My fathers house burned down so it got me thinking. Im trying to put more of my stuff online so I have a record of what I own. This is just a start. I hope I follow through. Most of these photos were added recently. Im going to have a photo album next to my cart and have these photos in it.

Go to the top right where it says style and click on thumbnails. Its easier to see everything.
