I was looking through a magazine yesterday from Southern ohio gun and i noticed that they had a mac 11 9mm semi closed bolt model for under 300 i have always loved the looks of the gun and want one i will be getting some cash for christmas and put some money with it to try to get it. The problem is i dont know anything about them. Which ones must use mac-11 mags and which ones use cheap sten mags. Any available parts for these if they just so happen to fail to fire? or can anyone here write a review about it. not a long barreled one the one that looks like the veitnam era short pistol. friend has a long 11.5 inch barreled one in .45 and i dislike the looks of it. i am not expecting it to be a match gun just function and get close all i need but i hate to not buy one and when the democrats get in ban them where i never can get one at a good price. any help here??? Thanks

The semi's have one bad feature. When the bolt recoils it kicks the trigger forward into your finger. That is why they have a plastic tube over the trigger but it doesn't help. In just a few rounds your trigger finger is bruised and hurting.
