I just picked up a WW1 ZF12 Maxim 08 range finder/scope in good/Ok condition. Its missing the eye cup, and has some white corrosion in places. What do these things sell for? Ill post pics shortly

It depends a lot on condition. Honestly not as much as I thought they would. I mean MG34 and MG42 scopes bring very good money but there are not many MG08s around and those that are mostly have scopes already. I have seen them from $50 to $500 but I have not seen that many sell... Pictures would help.

I have been slowly putting together a MG08 parts kit so I might be a little interested if you want to sell it. Then I would just need to get the scope rail that goes on the side of the MG08 :) Right now I have the recoil plates, top cover, barrel, booster, and feedblock. Now I just need a waterjacket, spade grips, trigger bar, lock, scope mount, and bottom and side plates.

Here are some pics. I have a Maxim 1910, but this is not the right scope for it, so I thought I might sell, trade or partial trade for some 1917 stuff. Im looking for a wood handled back plate and the 1917 top cover/sight.

Don't hold me to it but I think most of the ones I have seen on ebay in 75-90% condition with poor to average eye cup and with lense cover sell in the $100-$175 range. This is just going off memory and I am not trying to low ball you... Like I said I have seen them for $500... I just have never seen them sell for $500...
