Merry Christmas everyone and I hope you all stay safe in your travels. God bless those in our military that can not be home with their families but have chosen to sacrifice their safety and needs for all of us. This year is special in my family because we have our first grandchild and while it will be a couple years before she gets to the fun age at Christmas I am enjoying her none the less and already have a miniature scale doughboy helmet sitting on the Vickers waiting for the day she is ready to hang with Gramps and learn about beltfeds.

Here's something my VFW Post does every year, a wreath placed at the Community Veterans Memorial to honor those men and women who will not make it home this Christmas , and those who will never be home for Christmas.

I’m headed to the land of beltfedfrog and 42rocker, my years of needing a white Christmas are long gone.
May you all have a great time with family and friends. Merry Christmas to all my good friends here, too many to name and I am bound to forget some if I even try naming them. But hey, getting old has it's advantages because I also forget those I DON'T like!

Another wonderful year, and another joyous season. It is great that we can freely say "Merry Christmas" again; a rearguard action in the cultural wars. This one was a little poignant - it's probably the last year all of my children will be home Christmas morning. They do grow up and form families of their own. MSG

Didn't get anything "beltfed" related, but I did get a Crossman DPMS Full Auto capable AR15 SBR type BB gun, and that thing ROCKS!!!!

Also got the surprise of my life when there was a knock at the front door Christmas Eve and when I opened it my sister whom I have not seen on over ten years was there. Reasons why do not matter - it was a great emotional moment in my life.
Hope you all got something nice, be it physical, emotional, or other.....and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
