Are these barrel shroud stampings and rear stampings the way to go?

The WLA rears have dried up. There are 3 and 4 cuts around, but they are getting rare and expensive. I wish I had held off selling a couple of mine.

The receiver is a two cut? IIRC, that is not considered "destroyed". I would be careful with it, if that is the case. The WLA is sold as a "rifle", I think because of that.

IMA sold 2-cut's and i think it was numrich that sold a Front end only cut behind the cam. The ATF has since change their mind how they like them destroyed.

im so glad i jumped on the mg42 bandwagon when i did... my 2 builds are sitting idle waiing for my 2 WLA 100% recievers

yeah there used to be some very nice one cut demills in the early 80,s , had one thin bandsaw cut thru the area under the locking piece.
I think the BRP rec stampings are pretty nice, they are not that hard to weld together and all the stamped areas are nice and crisp , very close to the original rec
