Just wondering but I am making a hybrid diesel truck (s10/dakota size truck with a 4bt diesel in it) anyways Id like to remove the stock truck bed and install a trailer bed from a 1 1/2 ton military trailer Just wondering if anybody had a weight with out the chasis and wheels and the size of these trailers. I know folks have to have a similar trailer in their garage somewhere

It'd be better to just buy an old 2 1/2 ton military truck. They're not expensive. I know a place here in PA that has them for sale. We called them a deuce and a half. Great truck. Virtually impossible to get stuck. Some are multi-fuel. Gas/Mogas/Diesel/Jetfuel.
