Ron Paul is still advertising and on the ballot here...
if he quits,. I may vote for a misc unknown independent come nov.
Since I don't vote for lawyers, libs, and liars.. not much of a choice for me,
I will vote just so I'm on the voter rolls. Who are the unknown independents?

I asked about Him on another board OLDCOOT and others say he's a lib. and supported mag restrictions as governor etc. his site says something else......
but like the saying goes how do you tell

Ron Paul had me going until I heard about him going on about pulling ALL the troops back from around the world.
American Isolationism was only a major contributing cause to TWO WORLD WARS in the 20th century. Ron Paul is stuck in the 19th century. That way of thinking is extremely dangerous in the 21st Century.
For all the people that support Ron Paul, why not support Fred?

i dont know if i totally agree withi Dr. Paul on pulling all troops out of sand land....but as for his 19th century ideals...yes i think we could use a little more of that...
went to my investors to talk a bit about long term investments....he baulked when i said i want it in silver and gold and im burring it...he said " well in 1943 during the war people felt the same shaky feeling about our country " to which i replyed, " yes sir, but in 1943 i could walk into any class room and i would get respect, not because they were little angles...but because they would get their asses busted if they weren't. they also all had jobs, moms and dads, and most had some moral fundamental base line of living to base their decisions on....today i can walk in a classroom and no one will listen to me, the teacher gets sued if they touch them, they dont have jobs yet have designer clothes, credit cards and cell phones...and going by what im seeing happening now the results of this are coming in....they left home and wanted everything mom and dad had after 40yrs of work in one day and they are doing it with credit cards and no appreciation for what it takes to pay that card off in full...so no sir i don't want to invest in a bunch of brats...no, give me my silver and gold."
yes some will say, "well see what that sort of society got us? everything we have today." yes because man constantly swerves from one ditch to another...Ol' Dr Paul may be on the right side of the road...perhaps all the way...but we are so far on the left side were taking out farmer browns fence...so yea, im giving my hard right pull with Dr. Paul.
no man will unite all of us on all issues...but it is time to make some decisions...and some things arent going to be 100% what we want...i know Dr. Paul finds something wrong with being at war with terror on the other side of the world yet we are baisically desolving our borders and allowing millions of possible terrorists in that way....ever think on that!? we are sooo into fighting terror..and i believe we are doing some good over there...but...are you freaking kidding me! the back door of our country is WIDE open....and WE would be in trouble if we went down there shot the **** out of them. the ship is sinking and we keep taking on more...keep working guys millions on the take depend on you
hope that made some sense.....i know im pissing in the wind voting for Ron Paul...but i am...in the same way when the commies outnumber me....i will stand up for the USA...its not a flag or a place...its in our hearts and that can never be taken!

Paqul has a plus on everything but this,.. and I really think he would hesitate on withdrawal as he gets briefed on things he doesn't know (hopefully)

The only thing I agree with McCain on is going the distance with radical Islam. Still, I will not vote for him because of his history on the second amendment.
I would vote for Huckabee as I believe him to be truly pro gun. If he is the vice president on a ticket with McCain I will vote for him and not McCain. My hope is for the next election after McCain.

Huckabee all the way now!.vote for ron your throwing your vote out. plus i dont agree with him on alot of things, his republican party diedd out 50 years ago. i think huckabee is conservative enough to do thjob well, and he wont sign anti gun bill because they attach so much to them. if it was like a mag restriction bill perhaps, but not something like 1022.

Right now the only game in town is Mike Huckabee for gun owners. If McCain chooses him as vp I will vote but not for anyone else, unless John Wayne is resurrected.

Great this frees up his sons to join the military. If fighting "terror" is so important then they should be happy to do their share. If McCain gets elected we are never getting out of Iraq. That means that we can keep our guns but give up our money and the rest of our rights. If Clinton or Obama gets elected the country will be in better shape because Democrats at least believe in paying their bills and the current Republican president has doubled ours on the heels of this trillion dollar lie of a war. As far as guns go, it was a Republican administration that stopped the import of 1919 parts. The Democrats can pass whatever laws they want but I don't think any of us will be giving ours up.
