More Crankfire Questions

I am wanting a Crankfire and haven't yet decided what to do. I wanted to ask some advice on this board. If this is in the wrong section or out of line, please let me know.

I went to emory's site, and it says he's not making anymore cranks.

I was actually more attracted to the Ohioblacksheep setup even though it requires drilling a hole. I have seen a lot of after action reports on Emory's system, but little to none on OBS.

Quite frankly, I like the look of the OBS better as it leaves a nice clean look up top and doesn't interfere with the look of the trigger or pistol grip. I'm concerned about this crank interfering with the T and E. Also, I want to crank from the left side instead of the right.

I live in the great state of Georgia and we are pretty easygoing about our gun laws. (In Kennesaw Georgia everyone must own a gun, "it's the law"):D

Any and all advice or comment on these is apprciated.

Why in the world would he quit making crankfires?
WTF! I dont have my build finished yet and I would love to get one later on:( He does say the last for fully built-Maybe he will make a kit. I wonder if it has to do with liabillity?

Allied Armaments makes one that looks like Emory's. Anybody has one and how does it work.

When I bought my AA 1919 about a month and a half ago, they told me the Crankfire that they sell is in fact Emory's. They do not make their own. this may change if Emory quits manufacturing them, however.......time will tell.

The reason I am asking is I have an Emory's which is excellent! My freind wants one and I am asking for him. Thanks
I have the 4 lobe on my 8mm 1919. It is the bomb. You will not find anything better built then Emory's. It will be interesting to see what they will now go for on the used market.
Hey Commander47,

Emory still has Crankfires, he will just not be building units
after the curent inventory runs out. So give him a call and
put in your order you will love it!!!!
