Well thanks to this forum I finally finished and fired my first build. All of the parts, machine work, and instructions came from this forum. It is an Izzy kit from Cole's that I set-up for 30-06. 30calmachinegunner did the machine work and trigger, and rivets from MSG.The first test firing of 500 rounds went great. There were no failures to feed or eject with belts or links, or case failures. Here are a few pics and a video.
Is the rate of fire in the video what I should expect from an EJ crankfire? Or will a few more adjustments get it going faster? Thanks again to everyone who contributes to this forum.:)

congratulations! looks great.:) Its funny, (and please dont take this the wrong way) A bunch of yahoos like us are always building these things and posting that they work great the first time out. Rarely someone will post that they had to do a few minor adjustments or tweaking yet some companies that manufacture these things for a living cant seem to get It right. It proves that you should build It yourself. I hope this Isnt considered a hijack. As for the crank fire I dont know as californians cant be trusted with such a device but at the price of ammo nowadays I think she fires fast enough! Congrats again!:D

Looks great! Glad to see a new build showing up now and then. We need more people to get into the belt fed sport. Thanks for sharing your new toy... er... investment! ;)

As a California neighbor of bigblock, I can't say much about the cyclic rate on the Crankfire, but it sounds good to me!
