Is that one of them that look like a big mill and you put the stencils on the back side? I bought some printing equipment from Penn a few years ago and the trucking company had a list of what they called "riggers' (I guess they rig in on a pallet???" Maybe you should ask a truck line. I think Old Dominion would give a business a one time discount of 60% or so on what I bought-Yellow didn't do that hot. Hotch

Look into a company called "Craters & Freighters". I work for Yellow, but their rates suck right now. C&F does a LOT of 3rd party logistics and might be able to help.

now what?

Yea, I have several sideplates & recievers waiting to engrave, kinda figgured at 100 bucks a pop that ive been paying i could get close to owning my own machine. But i am thinking of doing a small run of one type of engraving for say mg34 then another for say vickers then maxims in case anyone is interested. Just enough to help pay the bills for the machine. Need to check in to the legalities of having people ship me their recievers though, I know i could take 80%ers but those are getting pretty rare anymore. I will cast around for interest and if enough i will get an ffl licence. Im also exploring a cost effective way to match maxim locks to the guns via engraving complete with the correct german script per the manufacturer. Im pretty sure this same method would allow me to engrave the fussie or fuzzie or fuszie (them spring) covers or any other non matching parts someone would want matched. Kinda wrestling with the idea of using my own type of proof mark so a collector would know it was not correct.
