Trying to finish getting parts for building (2) M2 HB .50 BMG in time for the Indy build party. Need the top plate internal parts and front and rear sights, top covers, complete internals, cocking assemblies and back plate/spades.... not much....LOL. Either M2 or M3 internals....been advised that either will fit and work OK. Just trying to cover the bases and will also post on the M2HB.net site. Any help is appreciated and all leads or emails will be answered. Contact info....(800) 380-4867....my dime.....

Len,
Are you building it with an unmolested M3 LHSP that has the depressor still on it? If so, you will need to keep to the M3 buffer body/extension combo and not use the M2 buffer body/extension combo. If you want to use the M2 style you will need to remove the M3 depressor and fill in the rivet holes that are left behind. Also your extractor cam will only work for the M3 if it is still on the M3 LHSP. So if you want to use a M2 extractor you will need to swap that cam out as well or just stick to the M3 extractor. If you stick to the M3 extractor, then I belive you will also need to get the M3 top cover that has clearance room for the larger M3 extractor.

.....M3 to M2 build....

SouthSW.....Yep....getting some parts from Christos. He has been very helpful and will probably get to talk with him tomorrow when he calls. Understand that there are several things that need attention when useing different M3 and M2 parts together. Beating the bushes for parts 'cause I can't afford (2) complete kits right now. Thank you for your info....I'm still learning about the .50's....
