Up for donation is a Dixson Machine 100% RSP. All proceeds will be donated to Shots / 1919A4.com. This was offered as a donation from Rick @ Dixson Machine. There has not been much activity for site raising money lately and Rick and I both wanted to do our part to raise some money.

This is a limited edition plate with US Army engraving. There will never be any more produced like this and will give you a one of a kind 1919A4. I've used several of Dixson Machine's RSP and they make a great build. This plate is 100% and will ship from my FFL to yours.

I need some feedback on the best way to sell of this plate to raise money for the site. Please advise on what you guys think is the best way to handle this.

Thanks,
Mike

WOW! That is one sweet looking plate! Looking forward to getting in on the raffle (assuming that is how it will be sold off) and the idea of making it a ready to assemble package would be great! (I still only have my "purchased" 1919 and still need to "build" on myself!)
Looking forward to hearing more!!!

Thanks for the input so far guys. I've had others offer to do the internal machining as well for donation, plus the spades from Project Guns.

I'm thinking this could become a complete build and raffled off like suggested. I do not have any more parts kits, but if I can come up with one I would be glad to build this and parkerize it for my part of the donation.

I'll contact Dave S to see if he wants to handle the raffle ticket part and collecting the money.

Keep the suggestions coming so we can do this up and raise some money for the site!

Thats a little over the top with todays economy. you will get more people at 10.00 a ticket and no set ticket limit. Most people want to help out the site but with christmas on the way, cash is on the low side.

I agree $10 would be a good price per ticket , You will sell more tickets and us poor people can afford to help out by buying tickets =)

I disagree.

I'm not MR. big bucks by any means. But I think a set amount of tickets gives the person buying a ticket or tickets a better idea of the odds.

Thats my story and I'm sticking to it.

Buy the way I have 8 kids, 13 grandkids have to check with the Admiral for great grand kids!

Update

Ok as of right now, we have the following items as donations:

1. Dixson RSP
2. Internal Modification Machining
3. Spade Grips!
4. Semi Trigger & Sear

As for the raffle I think we are better off selling them for more like $25 per ticket and shoot to sell around 200 tickets. That will raise $5000 for the site.
