A friend just bought a post 86 ZB-37 and asked me to look at it before he fires it. What does the selector on the back left hand side do ? I did not have a long time to look at it, but I think the selector goes into to the locking lug. As I think both pieces are missing I will have to look Thursday when I see him . Who ever did the welding on it did a beautiful job on it.

It is on the Receiver just did not have my glasses with me.

Sorry George - do not have one. I even searched around a little for one but came up empty. weaponeer.net may have something in the build forums - didn't check over there. Haven't been there in quite some time.

Thank you Buddy,I looked at the gun and it is missing. It was rebuilt by Don Quinnel (Don's Gunshop Ft Myers Fl.

Hmmmm......so do I understand it to be it [ROF] is slowed by means of a buffer type spring?

Its fine to.fire,it will just be at the slower rate. When swung down it arrests the total travel of the carrier and has a spring to assist and buffer in a faster return stroke, which gets you a faster rate. When missing or out of the way in the upper position it just travels the full stroke.
