I was thinking 3-4k. That might be high or it might not, but for any less it wouldn't be worth it for me to sell.

Thanks

Gun most have been in the 1100-1400, great plate and builder say retail 1600-$1800
*around 1500 rnds of brass surplus ammo. Retail $300
*Mg42 AA tripod, with adapter/dual can holder from Belt Fed Shooters. don't know what he gets? $400
*3 100 rnd cloth belts Retail 15$ each 40-50$
*1 250 rnd cloth belt retail $40
* Several hundred metal links pending links maybe 20-$30
* Original canvas rifle cover sold several in the $50
* Pedestal mount Fork Head Who knows, maybe 150-$200
* Several 30 cal ammo cans 6-$8 each say 20-$30

Puts a full retail price in the 3000$

Problem I see is this will need to be a FTF sale as shipping would be killer on it.
Most people in this day and time are #1 building there own, or #2 broke and don't have the money to pay retail and shipping. Shipping on this with ammo and mounts and tripod could hit 200-300$

I would start with selling your mounts then ammo then gun.
May help.
Just my 2 cents

Hmm $1200-$1400 on the gun? This is not an Izzy built gun. This is a all original USGI, Ive seen GI parts kits alone selling for close to 1k.

And you're right shipping would suck, but it is a local sale.

the price listed above for the ammo is low.
Yep maybe if it is good 3006, but I have seen some crap ammo out there.
It was based of the brass 8mm plinking ammo that is about 200$ per 900-1000 rounds

*around 1500 rnds of brass surplus ammo.
just using the info he gave us, not like he said it is all CMP LC.

I said yours was in the 1600-1800 did I not.
Not having a location also makes it harder to price.

You in the lower 48, the other two or your own Island? :)

Nobody has any input??
I BUILT ONE BUT THAT WAS WHEN THE KIT WAS UNDER $200.00. SIDE PLATE WAS FROM CENTURY AROUND $80.00 BUT NOW A COMPLETED SEMI IS ANYWHERE FROM $2,000-3,000 TO BUY. EVERYTHING IS NOW SKY HIGH SO YOU HAVE TO HAVE DEEP POCKETS OR REALLY WANT ONE. MINE WAS ALMOST NEW & IN CAL. .308 . NOW AN INVESTMENT FOR MY CHILDREN
