The new .50 BMG Rivet sets are ready to ship. There are three specific improvements. First, the long Trunnion rivet is now modeled on the Mil-spec. with a round head countersunk head to match the appearance of the factory built weapons. Next, the Trunnion and Top plate rivets are cut to the Mil-spec. length, simplifying construction. I have also included the two approx. ½ in rivets specified in the rivet table. As before, I offer three different sets: The Mil-spec. set that duplicates the appearance of the factory weapons, The Round head Trunnion set mimics the outside appearance of the factory weapon, and the Flat head set which can be bucked like a 1919a4. All rivets are kiln annealed and intended to be peened cold.

My .50 BMG rivet set started as flat head rivets cut to two lengths, that of the longest BHPB rivet, and the longest rivet used in the construction of the Receiver box. To these I added two commercial round head rivets and shipped them. It was the best M2/M3 rivet set on the civil market. Several years later I added round head countersunk rivets for the Trunnion and Top plate, cut to the longest length required. Now I offer three different lengths of the flat head rivets, two different lengths of the round head countersunk rivets, and long, round head countersunk rivets for the Trunnion. I was a W. Edwards Deming nerd in the military, and still try to follow his continuous improvement philosophy.

I'm finally getting it all in there. Third time's a charm, and I had to do it in pieces. This forum won't accept tables cut and pasted from MS Word, so I had to enter it manually.
