I think for $30 bucks per mag, I'd rather pass. I've got a LULA that loads just about as fast as I can get the ammo out of my hand. Besides, I just don't think I'd trust that mag body to last long under any kind of rough handling.

I watched the videos on Cammenga's site... While I now retract what I said before about handling abuse, I don't think the sledgehammer test was quite fairly done. Load that Aluminum USGI mag ALSO. An empty shell isn't as durable as a loaded one.

I stand corrected, but I'd be curious to see the sledge hammer test redone a little more equally, as well as a durability test on the sliding part on front of the magazine where the dimples and lips are really put to the test!

they had them down at knob creek last time, I picked one up they are neat. but I think I will stick to the 10.00 mill sup ones that have worked for years. With the ammo prices I don't shoot very fast anyways. on the up side your fingers don't hurt. (unlike the kids in the lower range at the creek loading ammo for full auto rental , they all had tape on their fingers!!!)

LOL.... Simple cure: LULA mag loaders! Loading mags by hand is out!

Surprised yall arent using stripper clips, I use the C Products mags or Vietnam Era m16 mag that cost $7-12, spoons are cheap and strippers are simple to store.

I think I'm going to pick up one for the range, not because I shoot so much but because I shoot so little. The last couple of times I have been to the range I ended up unloading mags because I am so tight with ammo I thought, well Ive had enough no sense in wasting ammo.

Looking at those, not having one in hand, I'm pretty worried about follower tilt when trying to open it up. The only good use I can come up with for those is for non-detatchable mag CA rifles, where sliding the magazine open and dropping in rounds would be easier that breaking the rifle open and loading them into the magazine one by one.

If I want something new and high-speed, I'll buy twice as many PMAGs and keep them all loaded. That way I can just change magazines, which is how many times faster than opening the front and stuffing bullets in.

As for loading, I use the easyloader that came with my Beta to stuff rounds in fast.
