Just for info, Sportsmans guide just posted Swiss MG51 loaders for $99 or $89 if you are a member. Says they are in stock, not pre-sale.

add says for loading mags and not belts. what do you think
it is really for and also the $64,000.00 if it is for loading belts.

its a swiss mg42 belt loader

The one with the hopper tower in the pic is for MG42 style belts in swiss cal. The other loader is for mags.

The MG51 loader is for the swiss version of the MG42. I have heard (repeat, heard) that with some minor alterations they can be made to load MG42 belts (same basic belt as MG 42, different caliber). The MG57 loader is for stg57 magazines. I might order one to see if it can be adapted to load FAL and M-14 mags, since it is set up for the 7.62x51 round.
