Filling out a couple form 4, and I’ve not done this for years. Do I send the Cleo the copy when I send the other two in to atf? Do I send it over toncleo after atf approves? Does the atf send that copy in once approved?


This was all so much easier when I bought as a company with no cleo signature.

Or when an SOT and it was super fast and easy

Rory, I send a copy to my CLEO whenever I apply for a transfer. I'm not sure who is required to do it bit I figure if I do it, then it gets done.

And you're right, it was sooooo much easier as a SOT.

Send the CLEO copy out when you complete and submit the original application. That way CLEO has an opportunity to comment/intervene before BATFE approval.

Yes, indeed, an SOT is a wonderful thing as long as you have enough volume through the shop to justify the expense.

Be sure to send the LEO's copy of the form by certified mail, otherwise you'll have no proof you mailed it, since they don't reply to the notice.
