Stumbled into a sweet deal on a 1919A4 semi auto package locally and I need some infor on it...I have an Am. Arms/Delta (American Arms) semi 1919A4 built in 308. I can’t seem to find much info on this company/builder. Can anyone shed some light? I’m also in need of a new sear as the legs broke on the one that was in it. Appears to have been a bad part from the word “go” as it appears to be a MIM or investment cast part not a forging or fully machined one.

Welcome...!!

Not familiar with that particular Co. or builder....but it would help if you can identify the right side plate or the type of denial islands it has. If it has the KMP RSP and trigger/sear assembly you may be able to replace it under warranty. If not,a few photo's may help identify the Mfg. If there is a 'K' on the back of the sear...it is a KMP piece. Welcome again....

Not sure how to post pics on here as I don’t see the tab as I’m accustom go on other gun forums I’m on. No markings of any kind on the sear but this is what is on the side plate for info-

No. 02022 U.S. INSP.
SEMIAUTOMATIC GUN
U.S. CAL. 30 M1919
MAN’FD BY AM.ARMS/DELTA
SPARKS, NEVADA

Only one of these that I have been able to find online is one that sold during a Rock Island auction back in Sept 2017.

The old ATF semi approval letter that many of us were familiar with- and was posted here on this forum for everyone back in the day- was from American Arms/Delta. It became obsolete when forum member 7.62x51 got ATF to issue a letter clarifying that welding the right side plate was not necessary so long as a semi build was riveted properly, and therefore a permanent assembly for all practical purposes. I have heard that company was affiliated with what is now U.S. Ordnance, but can't confirm that.

sure sounds like a US Ordnance gun. If it is it should render you good service. If its sear breaks you will want to go over to a KMP one. Grab a spare bolt to put way as well as lockframe for if it happens the. you can have them milled for the KMP setup and have the proper denial cut on them to fit your gun. US Ordnance has always done a nice job on their stuff.
